FiveRDesign provides many different kinds of support, not just for your websites but also your computer & other kinds of support too. Read on for more details. For more information about our IRC channel (which is mentioned below), please come to our IRC page.
FiveRDesign prides itself on producing quality websites for its customers and does not want any customer to suffer problems. Support will be provided as standard all during the web design and website creation process, and for for 3 months after the website has been completed (as a bare minimum, longer term support can be negotiated).
In addition, if we have not created your website but you have suddenly encountered a problem (for example, a form on your website is not submitting correctly) and the problem does not appear to be the fault of your web hosting company, FiveRDesign will (attempt) to come to the rescue and help solve your website problems. Charges will depend on the complexity of the problem and how quickly you need it solved. If you're willing to wait a little while, you may even get your website fixed for free!
If you have a website support request, please contact us here. If you need a solution quickly, we have an IRC channel which we keep manned as much as physically possible and may be the quickest way to contact us for support requests or other web design issues. Our IRC channel is #fiverdesign located on QuakeNet.
Support at FiveRDesign does not stop with websites. Our web designer is a very accomplished computer technican having achieved several "technican of the month" awards in his workplace in Hertfordshire. Therefore you can feel completely comfortable coming to us with your general hardware or software support questions. If your problem is a software issue, we will help you solve it for free (so please be understanding if you do not get an instant response as it is a free service). If we think the problem is a complicated one we may not be able to put the appropriate amount of time dedicated to solving the problem without charging for it, so we will advise you at the time. We would never expect our customers to be waiting for something they thought was free only to attempt to charge them (it's not good business!).
For general computer support, the quickest route to a solution is through our IRC channel mentioned above but please use our contact form to get in touch if no-one appears to be active in the IRC channel. If you are a Hertfordshire local, call out support may also be available (decided on a case-by-case basis). Unfortunately this would not be a free service, but as stated before we will discuss each problem with you.
